Alana Portzline is a composer for film, media, and concert halls, employing versatile contemporary styles that range from synthesizers and computers to works for full symphony orchestra.

She is known for creating evocative orchestral scores, emotionally stirring soundscapes, and intimate instrumental music that connects deeply with listeners and is at the heart of storytelling.

Her works have been featured in film (Still, An Inconvenient Truth), video games (DvG - A David vs Goliath Story), digitally projected shows (Discovering Divine Systems) and other media.

Her most recent work, a commission for the Royden G. Derrick Planetarium, was performed and recorded by the renowned Budapest Scoring Orchestra.
